The First Professional Muaythai Championship of Iran Organized by Eissa Izadi

On October 26, 2006, the first Professional Muaythai Championship of Iran
was held following the establishment of the National Muaythai Federation of Iran. This historic event was initiated and directly organized by Grand Master Pramajarn Eissa Izadi.
The competition featured two weight divisions, 130 lbs and 168 lbs, with four of the nation’s top Muaythai champions in each division, all with outstanding fight records, competing for the title. This championship marked a major milestone and a significant turning point in the history of Muaythai in Iran.
The role of Grand Master Pramajarn Eissa Izadi in organizing and executing the event, despite numerous obstacles and obstructions, was of paramount importance. Additionally, the valuable efforts of Grand Master Masood Izadi in technical and operational matters played a decisive role in the successful completion of the championship.
